Maple Sports Flooring
for Badminton / Basketball / Squash and other Indoor Multisports
General Care
DAILY:
a) Pick up and dispose of debris.
b) Remove Chewing Gum.
c) Dust mop floor with a clean, properly treated mop –
should be well squeezed not wet.
d) Wipe floor with bare hands to test if dust remains on the
floor. If dust is detected, repeat above
# “c” step.
e) For normal soil removal, use a waterless cleaner.
f) Vacuum floor mats.
MONTHLY:
a) Pick up and dispose of debris.
b) Remove Chewing Gum.
c) Remove rubber burns and floor marks with a solvent-dampened
cloth.
d) Tack or damp-mop floor with solvent cleaner.
e) Place “wet floor” signs until floor dries.
IMPORTANT:
a) Keep dust and grit off floor. (Use floor mats at entrances
to gym and high traffic areas.)
b) Avoid use of low quality footwear that can cause excessive
scuffing.
c) Always use a properly treated, clean dust mop.
d) Don’t use automatic scrubber on the wood floor.
e) Don’t allow water or other liquid to stand on floor.
f) Don’t use any detergent, chemical etc. to mop the
floor.
g) In buildings where air-conditioning is not available, use
circulating or ventilating fans.
h) When required to clean before an important tournament or
otherwise, use clean spirit/thinner and mop
the floor in one direction to regain
the shine.
Do's:
· Wipe up spills immediately.
· Use doormats and throw rugs outside room entrances
and in front of kitchen sink and refrigerator to help
keep dirt and grid off your floor, and to prevent damage and
excessive wear.
· Place runner and area rugs (with slip-resistant backings)
along high-traffic areas.
· Move heavy appliances and furniture by using a dolly
rolled over plywood or pressed board.
· Use furniture leg protector pads under all furniture
legs.
· Replace hard, narrow furniture rollers with wide
rubber rollers.
· Keep the relative humidity in your home between 45%
and 55%.
· Protect your floor from direct sunlight.
Don’t's:
· Use any of the following products (or products similar
in nature) on your floor: ammonia based cleaners, acrylic
finishes, wax based products, detergents, bleach, polishes
and oil soaps, or abrasive cleaning soap.
· Allow water to stand on your floor for any length
of time.
· Walk across your floor in poorly maintained shoes
with heeltaps, spike heels or with any sharp object protruding
from your shoe.
· Allow furniture to rest on the floor on small metal
tips or hard domes.
Acrylic Sports Flooring for Tennis/Basketbal/Volleyball/Badminton
and other Outdoor Multisports:
General Care:
1. No leather shoes or sandals are allowed on court
2. Sneakers with white soles are allowed on court.
3. Please keep the court clean.
4. Keep only plastic chairs and tables on court.
5. Do no drag the plastic chairs and tables.
6. Wash the court whenever it is dirty – at least once
a month.
7. Washing with clean portable water and left to dry.
8. Daily cleaning with broom only – Sweeping.
9. No Eatables allowed
10. No Pan, Beetle, Tobacco etc allowed.
11. No Chewing Gum.
12. Open the Can of Balls before entering the courts.
Squash:
General Care:
1. No leather shoes or sandals are allowed on court
2. Sneakers with white soles are allowed on court.
3. Please keep the court clean.
4. Daily cleaning with broom only – Sweeping. NO Water
is required.
5. Once a month clean the court with clean spirit or thinner.
6. No Eatables allowed
7. No Pan, Beetle, Tobacco etc allowed.
8. No Chewing Gum.
9. Don’t clean your hands on the walls of the squash
court.
